am an editor of this monthly trade journal, so I won't comment
on the quality of its content--except to say that the only reason
I agreed to become involved was because this was my most valued
trade rag when I was a junior embedded programmer. What I do
want to say is that up until recently the only way to receive
Embedded Systems Programming was to qualify for a free subscription
as a senior embedded programmer, tech lead, or manager. Such
subscriptions are hard to come by, and many junior staff members
must borrow copies from their peers for years before they qualify.
But now there's a way for anyone who wants to read this important
magazine regularly, simply by forking over a few bucks a year.
In fact, your employer will probably reimburse you for the expense.
